  Jim Boydell
 Jim used teach at the Didsbury Training School many years ago. We think he finished his career as a rota manager in the NOU. He was also a very keen cyclist.

 Sreve worked on Exchange Construction in the old Manchester North Area and then throughout the North West region.

 Dave worked on private wires and in various departments in Dial House. After retirement worked part time in the world of horse racing working at Aintree and Haydock Park.

 Rod worked on telegraph's for many years. Rod was a jazz enthusiast he lived in Denton

  Sam Corbett
 Sam spent most of his career as a Jointer and a Survey Officer on Manchester North Area. He died while playing in a bowling match which along with fishing was one of his passions.

  Vinny Collins
 Vinny worked on exchange construction in and out of Dial House for most of his career. A larger than life character he was a joy to work with and be around. A great raconteur. He will be sadly missed.

 Ron was a Manager at Ashton involved in pole erection and recovery.

  Steve Payne
 Steve spent most of his career in Dalton trunk exchange before moving on to trunk test TVNSC and finally the outside broadcast group. He was a very sociable larger than life character who loved his football representing MANCASS and playing for his home town team Atherton Coll’s.

  Mike Carr
 Mike worked at GPO then BT from the 1960s until his early retirement in 1991. Most of Mikes working life was in accounts at Telephone House and Church St Manchester.

  Doug Edwards
 Doug did his early work on Exchange Maintenance around Walkden Swinton and Pendleton. He later moved onto the TXE4 support group. He was also a committee man on the P.O.E.U. Manchester North Internal Branch for many a year. He was a well liked and much respected guy.

  Graham Bell
 Graham Dinger Bell worked on Trunk Test in Dial House for several years before transferring to the Training School at Didsbury specialising on Transmission. When the school closed he moved back to Dial House managing the Works Orders staff until his retirement.

  Steve Ogden
 Steve started as a TTA on EL and P in 1969 he then has spells on Exchange Construction and Maintenance in Manchester North and South areas. He subsequently moved to the BT training college at Stone for several years before moving to America for 15 years with BT-Concert. He returned to the UK a few years ago.

  Harold S Garner
 Harold joined as a Y2Yc. He worked in the Auto exchange field being on the area pool before running Woodley Telephone exchange for some years. He later worked on Transmission at Manchester G before being promoted. He eventually went on to work at the RNCC before retirement.

 Howard worked in many places including Blackfriars and Collyhurst Exchanges and then on various jobs in Grand Island and Dial House.

 Ron started his career in the Stalybridge and Ashton area and then took up Transmission duties in Dial House on Works Orders on the 1st Floor. He ended his BT days as the North Area ASCO.
