| | Vinny worked on exchange construction in and out of Dial House for most of his career. A larger than life character he was a joy to work with and be around. A great raconteur. He will be sadly missed. |

| | Steve spent most of his career in Dalton trunk exchange before moving on to trunk test TVNSC and finally the outside broadcast group. He was a very sociable larger than life character who loved his football representing MANCASS and playing for his home town team Atherton Coll’s. |

| | Mike worked at GPO then BT from the 1960s until his early retirement in 1991. Most of Mikes working life was in accounts at Telephone House and Church St Manchester. |

| | Doug did his early work on Exchange Maintenance around Walkden Swinton and Pendleton. He later moved onto the TXE4 support group. He was also a committee man on the P.O.E.U. Manchester North Internal Branch for many a year. He was a well liked and much respected guy. |

| | Graham Dinger Bell worked on Trunk Test in Dial House for several years before transferring to the Training School at Didsbury specialising on Transmission. When the school closed he moved back to Dial House managing the Works Orders staff until his retirement. |

| | Steve started as a TTA on EL and P in 1969 he then has spells on Exchange Construction and Maintenance in Manchester North and South areas. He subsequently moved to the BT training college at Stone for several years before moving to America for 15 years with BT-Concert. He returned to the UK a few years ago. |

| | Harold joined as a Y2Yc. He worked in the Auto exchange field being on the area pool before running Woodley Telephone exchange for some years. He later worked on Transmission at Manchester G before being promoted. He eventually went on to work at the RNCC before retirement. |

| | Mike lived in Glossop. He joined the GPO from the Forces. He worked as a TO in the 60s in Dial House on Works Orders. Later he went to work on TEO with Alan Bannister and then finally MR/G on Transmission Maintenance. He was promoted to Level 1 and then finally Level 2 within the NW Regional Headquarters before taking retirement.
Mike served 30 plus years as a JP in the Tameside Area where he was also active on the Mottram Bypass Committee for many years. He was a keen Badminton and Table Tennis player in his time. He will be sadly missed by all of his colleagues. |
