| | Barry "Mr Sutton Common" Hadfield passed away 11th Feb having suffered from motor neurone disease for 3 years. He retired in 1989 as an external technical support manager within the Regional Office. He started his career on the clerical side, then moved to the engineering side where he spent some time in Dial House before being promoted. Barry was 80 yrs old. RIP |

| | Sam was an extremely popular and well known character, working in Dial House on Trunk Test / Transmission (including many years on Rota), CP and Packet Switch throughout the 70's, 80's and up to Release 92 when he changed career and became a schoolteacher. |
