| Derek Atherton (The Rates Man) has finally thrown in the towel and retired from BT.
| |
|
| |
| Derek started as an apprentice in 1971 and in his early years worked in Dial House on Trunk Test; FDM Transmission and PW maintenance.

|
| |
| He then embarked on Remote access test systems and became the undisputed king of 'RATES' along with Ernie Dodd. Alas all good things must come to an end.
