| Harry Jones contacted us with this sad news.

| My name is Harry Jones, I spent most of my working life in BT on the south area apart from the last couple of years setting up the field support unit in Church St.
| |
|
| |
| Gottfried Sohar was my uncle by marriage and he also worked mainly in the south on overhead based at Altrincham.
| |
|
| |
| He passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve in Sharston House nursing home in Knutsford at the age of 99, where he had been for five weeks.
