| | |
| Hi From BT MR Staff, | |

| Sadly we have two deaths to report today.

|
| |
| Firstly, Ron Dawson informed us of the Death of Steve Payne. Ron went on to say:

|
| |
| Sadly I have to inform people that 'Big Steve Payne' passed away in hospital on Sunday evening, 10th of Febuary after a short illness.
| |
|
| |
| He was 67 years old. Steve spent most of his career in Dalton Trunk Exchange before moving on to Trunk Test, TVNSC, and finally the Outside Broadcast group.
| |
|
| |
| He was a very sociable, larger than life character who loved his football, representing MANCASS and playing for his home town team, Atherton Coll’s.

|
| |
| He will be greatly missed by his many friends.
