Derek Fox posted a notice to our website with the sad news of Trevor's death.
It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of Trevor Lawton.
Trevor worked on the external network for all of his BT career 40+ years most of the time as a Faults-Man Jointer in the Manchester South area Macclesfield area.

Trevor peacefully passed away on Friday 31st July 2026 at Prestbury House Care Home, Trevor aged 84 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Glenise, a much-loved Father of Jonathan, Julie and the late Richard, loving Father-In-Law of Sue and Caroline, cherished Grandad of Liam, Hannah, James, Sam, Tom and Joel, treasured Great Grandad of Izzy, Grace, Lily, Patsy and Zara. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.
Funeral arrangements:-
Tuesday 25th August at 2.00 pm
Macclesfield Crematorium
Prestbury Road
Macclesfield
SK10 3BU
Flowers or if desired, donations may be sent for the East Cheshire Hospice.
