| | | Shirley Lightbowne- Didsbury DQ. |
| | In December 2016 I purchased a bungalow in Cheadle Hulme from the excutors of ' an estate '. The owners Shirley & Doug Lightbown had passed away within months of each other. It would appear Shirley worked in Didsbury DQ and then in Dial House, retiring in the mid 90's.
Since moving here I have received Christmas Cards from who I am told are former colleagues at BT, one of which still comes from a ' JEAN ' from North Manchester- who sadly has no idea that Shirley passed away in May 2015. Just hoping that Jean or anyone that knows her could pass this kindly on be it sad news but very belatedly...

 Thank you - Alfred Brown.
