 | | Farewell John Greatbanks |
| |  With a sad heart I have to inform you of the passing of John Greatbanks.
John, most people probably knew him as Johnny G, started his BT days in and around the Oldham area, but I knew him from my days at Collyhurst Exch in the 70's &
80's.
His son Mike sent me the following email
Hi Ken,
Sorry for the unexpected nature of this email.
I am Mike - son of John Greatbanks and unfortunately, have sad news.
My dad passed away on 7th Of Sept after a cancer diagnosis earlier on this year.
I am assuming you are possibly one of his former work colleagues from BT. If so, please could you pass this on to anyone who knew him.
His funeral will take place on Friday 10th of October at 1pm in Blackley Crematorium and there will be wake at the Woodthorpe on Bury Old Rd.
