Remember Phil well from his Dial House days. Good person. Seem to remember that he had connections with Denton Swimming Club. |

I knew Phil from my time as a youth and a couple of years following that in Guardian and always got on well with him. We occasionally went plane spotting at Manchester airport and always had a laugh and a pint or two. I knew he had met an married a girl from Stone, and although I'd long since lost touch with him, I always hoped things had worked out well after he moved to Stone. I always remember his use of the phrase 'not many', which he seemed able to use in reply to many questions. |
