| | Geoff Plevin contacted us with the sad news of Mike's death.
Sadly I heard today that Mike Spencer who used to work out of Gorton on Customer Apparatus and Line passed away yesterday 15 April.
Funeral Details:-
Wednesday 7th May, at 3.00pm
Dukinfield Crematorium
Hall Green Road
Dukinfield
SK16 4EP
Respecting dad's wishes there will be no wake, however, friends and family are welcome to join us at the family home in Stalybridge after his service. |

I spent every Morning at Gorton having a good chin wag and laugh with Mike before we went to Manchester to do our jobs faulting lines.
Mike used to fix Bernard Mannings line now and again and Mike did his act back at Gorton for us all, very funny bloke always smiling and having a laugh.
Very special man, will be sadly missed by all the GPO BT people.
