cross.jpg RIP Cliff Dodd - updated
Recently we received the very sad news that Cliff Dodd passed away peacefully at a nursing home after battling illness for some time. Cliff was aged 71.
Cliff started at BT as an apprentice in the early 1970.s. He worked at Turret, then Rutherford House and left BT to pursue another career in the 1980’s.
Some years ago Cliff by chance, discovered a large group of his old colleagues met on the First Thursday of every month at the Shambles. He suddenly appeared one day and absolutely loved the Banter and Camaraderie of the group and greatly relished his monthly trips on the First Thursday.’s travelling from his home in Chapel en le Frith.

Funeral update No2: change of venue

Due to family circumstances the funeral will be privately held.
For those who wish to celebrate Cliff's life the will be a wake. Casual dress for attendees.

Condolences to his family. I didn't really know Cliff but I recognise his face.
