I remember Howard from my days as a T2A in Manchester North Area. A great guy and always helpful both with regards to work and encouragement when it came to playing football.
I'm sure he will be sadly missed not only by his wife and family but all his ex-colleagues.
RIP Howard.

In 1995 I was a TTA on construction at Chorlton Workshops, Howard was my Tea. We went in his car to Manchester where he took me for my first Chinese meal. Although our paths diverged he always had a friendly word when we met again. A really nice person!

Very sorry indeed to hear about Howard's passing. He was a really nice person with a quiet charm of his own. Do you have a telephone contact with his wife or next of kin? I would be very pleased to speak to her about Howard.

Howard was my first boss after coming out of my time. Gave me my opportunity to be promoted and shift on to Internal Planning. Great guy, supportive and always there for his team, respected by everyone. A sad loss and my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
