| | Alan Farrell contacted us with the sad news of John's death.
Many people will remember John as he was P.O.E.U internal North Branch Sec, Also was elected on to the Nation Exec . He just lately moved to live up in Scotland.

When I worked out of Manchester F TRS in the late 80s early 90 s John’s Union office was next door to our office so I saw a lot of John.He was a very easy going chap who I’d known from the day he started as an adult entrant when he was under the wing of Alan Pritchard on construction duties.
