 | | Farewell Norman Newsham |
| | John Coburn contacted us with the sad news of Norman's death.
Steve Newsham, Norman’s son has been in contact with me to advise of the sudden death of Norman Newsham, early in June.
Norman has been retired for a few years I think during the project sovereign cull, he worked mostly in the Blackfriars Central area of Manchester as a fitter customer works engineer when I knew him has a young trainee. I may have some of those facts slightly wrong.
Steve has advised us of the funeral details:
Wednesday 2nd July at 14.30

I'll be there, Norman was nearly resident at Granada Studios , and I learned quite a lot from him...based at Lee House and spent my third year as an apprentice going on to be a foot-fitter in town for the next six years. He was a good man,they were good years,happy memories.... |
