 | | Barry Winton Update |
| | For those of you that remember Barry Winton just thought that I would give you an update on his ill health. His wife does send out regular emails advising on his progress.
Back in March 2012 he had an operation for Pancreatic Cancer and has been well on the mend since but last week his wife sent me an email to advise that he had now suffered a stroke and was currently in Macclesfield Hospital, Ward 11.
I gather Barry and Christine moved back to Macclesfield this February having spent the last few years up in Lancs and Cumbria area. She says 'Speech is still garbled at times,but his word memory is returning thank goodness, writing is more of a problem but he is having lots of therapy to improve things. He is mobile and getting fed up with hospital life, but not done a runner yet!!!'
