| | Ged Morris informed us of the passing of Festus.
Festus worked on Building Services mainly based in Telecoms House.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Franco, his son, has contacted us with an update to the funeral arrangements. There is a change to the venue and the time.

Very sad to read about Festus. Worked with him twice during my time at BT, first on telephone sales in Church St for the Post Office when we were both civil servants before shortly afterwards becoming employees of British Telecom. Then on Accommodation in 1984 in Telecomms Hse followed by time in Portland St until I left BT on release in 1985.

My dad Tom Rooney trained Festus at church street in late 70s, I worked in TAG at same time. Festus was always smiling, lovely young fella and everyone liked him, so sorry to read this notice of his passing in 2019. Fare thee well traveller.xx |
